The Club Pune

Wikipedia club Pune is a club for enthusiastic Puneris, who love to volunteer their time, creativity and money (Most welcome) - anything for Wikipedia and other WikiProjects.

We are few in number but extremely passionate for Pune with a big vision and open heart

we love to meet new people - people like you, who wish to do something extra apart from their regular 10 to 6 life.

We want to listen to your ideas and make your strengths as our team’s strength.

Structure of the Club

Through a selection process, one can get membership of the club. In order to maintain membership, member must follow norms and rules of the club.

Teams and Projects

Wiki Workshop in Progress.

Individuals teams will work on different Indian languages Wikipedia and other Wiki-projects.

Current proposed projects

• English Wikipedia - Group members along with mentor will work on English Wikipedia. Group can select any favourite topic to work on.
• Hindi Wikipedia -· Group members along with mentor will work on Hindi Wikipedia. Group can select any favourite topic to work on.
• Marathi Wikipedia - Group members along with mentor will work on Marathi Wikipedia. The objective is to improve the quality and increase the number of articles on Marathi Wikipedia.
• Bengali Wikipedia -Group along with mentor will work on Bengali Wikipedia.
• Commons -If you don't enjoy writing or editing but would still like to contribute then Commons Group is for you! Upload Photos, Videos, Graphics or media files that can be used across all Wikimedia projects in Wikimedia Commons. 

 

You can join us for any of these projects or may be for all, your choice. We need you to spread the word of mouth and become a proactive member of this club.
