Volunteers are the key to success of the activities that will be conducted at the WIKIPEDIA CLUB PUNE. An important part of our role at the WCP is coordination of volunteers.

 People write to us stating they want to join the club and we sync them with our latest projects, campaigns and activities we are currently working on or plan to develop in the future.

Are you a Student ?

We get our maximum support from Student. A young fresh energetic mind is what exactly we look for. No matter what you learning as student you can be a great help of Wikipedia Club Pune.

• Join us and take direct action : WCP ( Wikipedia Club Pune ) invite you to be a part of our club and spread the word of mouth in your school/College community. friend circle and family. 
• 
  
• Start WCP Group in your School / College : Join us and create a WCP Linkage in your institution. 
  
  
• We conduct Wiki-Diksha Program for such leaders. For getting the Wiki-Diksha :) write us on wikipediaclubpune@gmail.com
  
  
• Learn and Contribute : If you are new and Don't know How to Edit Wikipedia or How to contribute in other Wiki Projects , we suggest you to enroll yourself in our next Wiki Academy Batch. Your active contribution in developing Wiki Projects are really important.
• Be a Mentor: Once you will finish your Wiki Academy and Wiki Diksha Program of our Club you can become our Wikipedia club Pune's Official Mentor. Be sure we won't pay you any salary for this ( Sorry but it's fact ). However, we can promise a nice treat as Dakshina to you.
• Wear Wiki T-Shirts : Nice way to promote Wikipedia around the world.

Are you an Academicians ?

Academicians can play very vital role in the development of Wikipedia.You have the power of knowledge and thus Academicians are regarded as true role models to students and parents too have high regards and faith in them.

If you come forward and join us , we are sure nobody can stop us. You can help us in following ways:

• Become the active member of Wikipedia Club Pune.

• Sign-up for Wikipedia Academy Program at your school / College .

• Train your teachers and staff members under Wiki Diksha Program , So they become active Wikipedia Editors.
• Use Wikibooks , Wiki College and Wiki University Resource in your Institution as teaching and learning material.
• Inculcate the habit of using Wikipedia for student's Project Search.
• Organise Workshops for your students on Wikipedia and involve them in Wikipedia Editing.
• Call a meeting for parents in your school / College and educate them about Wikipedia Contribution.
• Conduct various Competition on Wikipedia and encourge students habits for wikipedia search.
• Help us in writing articles , books and other publications on Wikipedia Club Pune.
  
  
• Help us by providing us your institution as Venue for meetings, computers and Internet for conducting workshops and Camps.

Are you a writer, a ranter, a thinker, a politically minded individual?

• Write for Wikipedia Club Pune : We seek help for creating articles, blogs, press news on Wikipedia and our activities.
• Write for our Bulletin. We are planning to launch a printed newsletter with the articles related to Wikipedia and other wiki projects. We certainly welcome your contribution in this area too.
